Diller Teen Fellows Nomination Form: 2020-2021

NOMINATIONS DUE: 30th August

Thank you for taking time to nominate a teen for the Diller Teen fellows program! We are looking to build a pluralistic cohort that represents the diversity of the Melbourne Jewish community, and our nominators help us to engage Jews who come from different backgrounds, attend a variety schools, and connect with Judaism in individualised ways.

Please nominate current year 9 or 10 students who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, dedication to community service, an interest in Jewish learning, and would like to strengthen their ties with Israel. Further qualities include: a commitment to contributing to the Jewish community, exceptional cooperation in peer groups, outstanding communication skills, and a demonstration of maturity and thoughtfulness.

Diller Teen Fellows (Diller) is a year-long teen leadership program. Throughout the Program and together with our counterpart group in the Golan Heights, Israel, Fellows will develop leadership skills, explore their Jewish Identity and connections to Israel and engage in meaningful Tikun Olam (social justice) opportunities. Additionally,  Fellows have the opportunity to participate in two incredible seminars: hosting Israeli teens for 10 days in their homes in Autumn 2021, and participation on a three-week trip to Israel in Winter 2021.

The Diller experience empowers its teens to be active, effective leaders with a strong Jewish identity and a respect for pluralism.

Being part of Melbourne's Diller Teen Fellows Program stimulates significant personal and communal growth. More details about Diller Teen Fellows programs can be found here, of through the ZFA page.
